Absolutely dynamic, Amanda Wells on Sunday morning picked up right where she left off after the Promise Women’s conference.
Starting in Genesis 1, she shared powerfully and insightfully on man’s destiny, lost by Adam when he fell in Eden, but now to be taken up again by mankind.
Further expounding Isaiah 14:12-14, Ezekiel 28:2-19 and Ezekiel 27:3-9, Amanda showed us what was included in Lucifer’s estate before his fall and the areas over which God has given mankind dominion.
The message was followed by a powerful time of ministry as Amanda prayed for various needs, then prayed for and spoke prophetically to the youth who were present.
Things just keep getting better and better at Bendigo Christian Fellowship. Two young ladies recommitted their lives to God and on Sunday night, and as we joined with Abundant Life Christian Fellowship to hear Amanda again, two were baptised in the Holy Spirit.
Next Sunday morning we will be hearing from Franklin Elliott, National Director of Healing Rooms Australia.
These ministries are fitting in perfectly with where Pastor Alan has been leading us lately in raising our expectations to see God move in signs, wonders and miracles. We have seen a number of outstanding healings and other miracles in the lives of individuals and our church as a whole in recent times.

Brilliant. Awesome. Life-changing. Inspirational. Excellent.
These were some of the comments of women who attended the inaugural Promise Women’s conference in Bendigo last weekend.
Representing more than twenty churches, around two hundred and fifty women from Bendigo and regions as far away as Gippsland, the Grampians and Swan Hill, gathered to hear two outstanding speakers in Roma Waterman and Amanda Wells.
Mrs Waterman, a renowned singer and songwriter and leader of the Melbourne Gospel Choir, shared the testimony of her miraculous healing from fibromyalgia and other illnesses and sang an original composition on the Friday night, then on Saturday shared a message on the meaning of the word “promise”.
Mrs Wells, an internationally acclaimed speaker and author, spoke dynamically on the things that devalue women and encouraged the conference to see their potential and fulfil their destinies. Each one was, she said, “God’s Mona Lisa”.
Music for worship was provided by musicians and vocalists gathered from five different churches.
The conference concluded with delegates sharing communion together, in recognition of the unity they shared as Christians, regardless of denominational labels or theological differences.
Organising committee chair, Sue Lamb, described the conference as “an outstanding success” and “a great start for what will become an annual event in the City of Bendigo”.

Although belonging to another congregation, Florence is well known to many of us and has attended our meetings from time to time. She has been on an exciting journey of discovery, growing in her understanding and experience of the Holy Spirit. God has used us as a part of that journey. Florence has recently received miraculous healing for some long standing ailments. This is her story …
Three weeks ago I attended a healing service in Ballarat conducted by John Mellor. It was incredible to witness many healed instantly and people were slained by the Spirit lying all across the floor.
It seemed almost unreal until I went forward to ask for healing of my bowel intolerance to milk and gluten for 10 years. As soon as he placed his hand on my head, I went dizzy and fell. I didn’t even hear what he prayed! Three times I got up, three times I went down! I just laid there praising God’s awesome power.
I’ve been able to tolerate milk and gluten products without problems since. The Lord even healed my left shoulder pain which I did not ask.
No words can describe my gratitude and it has assured me that all things are possible with God.
His word is absolutely dependable.

Wow, today was a great day! If we can all get a full revelation of the messages that were preached today, there will be no stopping our people!
Today around communion James shared with us about the suffering of Christ and issued a challenge to us: Are we prepared to suffer for the gospel? It may not be physical suffering, but perhaps verbal abuse from people who don’t share the same views of Christ as we have.
Alan then preached a brilliant message from Mark 9:14-29. As we as a church continue to believe God for miracles, Alan continued to build faith amongst the people. There are no “ifs” among believers. If God says it, then it must happen. The key to taking hold of these promises of God is faith - Heb 11:6. Involved in our faith is a choice to believe. You make a choice to believe God’s word, not the circumstances. If you have a sickness or pain in your body, admit that, but then choose to believe God’s word that you will be healed. As we step out and believe God at his word, He will supply the faith.
While you must believe, you must also have a revelation of the authority that God has given you. God has given us authority to lay hands on people. When we lay hands on people, we only need to speak the word. One word! That’s it. And the sick will be healed, the demons will flee! We don’t need to spend hours and hours pleading with God to heal or to move the demon.
The prayers have already been prayed when we spend our time alone with God. If we don’t walk with God, if we haven’t spent the time in the quiet place pressing into God and communing with Him, we won’t be walking in the authority that we have.
The disciples couldn’t move the demon from the boy because they hadn’t prayed through to the place where they had revelation of their authority in Christ.
Press into God and seek revelation of that authority we have and we will see the miracles!
Alan continued the faith theme in the evening service. Faith doesn’t mean that you have to understand everything. By faith we believe that God created the earth, but we don’t understand how God created it.
In Heb 11:7 we read about Noah, who built the ark based on things unseen. He stepped out in faith and obedience to God - even though he had never seen rain and had no idea what an ark was. Faith takes us out of the comfortable, into the unknown. Faith looks forward, forward to the vision, forward to the unseen, forward to the things that God has promised.
Be fully persuaded that God can do what He said He can do. If we step out, and we begin to falter, God’s faith will take over. When Peter was walking on the water, he stepped out. He believed that Jesus would allow him to walk on the water. When he started to sink, Jesus reached out and God’s faith took over. Peter then had the faith OF God, not faith in God.
You start out with faith in God, but finish with faith of God.
We are on the verge of seeing God do some great things in our community - things that have never before been seen in this community. The key to seeing this happen though is to spend time with God, pressing into all that He has for us, then taking that and sharing it with our friends and family. As we come before God with our desire for all that He has for us, He will continue to move in our lives and give us greater revelation of our authority in Him and His plan for our lives. He will take us to places in the spirt and in His presence where we have never been before. His glory will shine even brighter through us and people will come to us, asking what they must do to be saved. Our God is an awesome God and he loves it when His kids step out in faith!

A few months ago I was experiencing severe kidney/back pain. Ps. Al and Caroline laid hands on me and asked God for the release of this pain and discomfort.
While they were praying I could feel something amazing happening throughout my body.
I was healed immediately and have had no pain since. Praise God!
I’d been in for prayer with Ps. Al and the prayer team not too long ago. (I won’t tell you what the condition was as it was quite embarrassing, not to mention amusing.)
We asked God for His awesome healing power once again. I could feel the pain leaving my body and it hasn’t returned. Praise God!
My faith in God as our mighty healer has grown since that day.
I didn’t attend church last Sunday morning due to coughing most of the night and lack of sleep. My throat was extremely sore, so I rested up again that morning.
I knew by that afternoon I had to get to church, nothing was going to stop me from being there. During the service I felt as if I couldn’t breathe, I coughed continuously and had to go outside. While I stood in the foyer trying to hear the message I was asked to come in and be healed.
Music to my ears - that’s what I was there for, to ask God for healing.
Praising and thanking God during the prayer I could feel my sore throat going.
I believed more than anything that I would be healed. Then it was gone. Hallelujah!
God had worked another miracle in my life and healed me.
It doesn’t matter what is wrong in our bodies or our lives, God hears and answers our prayers.
Ask God in faith for anything, Whatever we ask of Him, He responds, whether it be immediately or in time.
Have faith in our awesome God and be healed!
Vicki

God is awesome!
I am so excited about what God is doing in the church, so many people’s lives are being touched by God’s power and my life being one of them.
In the last few weeks, God has healed me.
For a number of weeks my left thumb was extremely painful and sore, I could not hold or pick anything up with it.
One Sunday while I was singing, God healed my thumb.
On 3rd September God set me free and healed me of arthritis at the base of my neck.
He has continued to also heal me emotionally and set me free in the last few weeks.
If you have been battling for a long time, don’t give up, just hang in there, God always comes through.
He is such a loving and faithful God, who always wants the best for us.
His presence is so real, just open yourself to him and he will touch you.
Joyce.

Today was great! During the communion message we were reminded that we are always to put God first and not let other stuff creep in and steal our time with God. We may be doing “church” stuff and think that is ok, but it’s not - we need to set aside time with God and make that a priority. With that message fresh in our minds, we hit a new level in worship and as a church really pressed into the presence of God.
Carol brought us sobering message - reminding us that as christians we need to be real. We need to be honest with our selves and honest with the world. If we pretend things are ok all the time, then we are lying. It takes bravey to show who you really are to the rest of the world, but this is necessary in order to live a life of integrity and honesty. Allow your true self to express who God is. As you spend time with God, He will change you from the inside out and allow Himself to shine through.
In the evening, Alan encouraged us to lift our expectations and believe for miracles. God is a God of miracles. God heals. The bible says that when we lay hands on the sick, they shall (that means must, got to do it) be healed.
Faith is a now word and expects God to doing something now.
As we believe for miracles, the miraculous will become the normal and if somebody isn’t healed, that will be abnormal.
Don’t let your failures stop you from stepping out into the relam of the miraculous. Failth pleases God. See the miracles with the eye of faith.
Let’s rise up and see the miraculous become the normal. Let’s begin to see the miracles in the spirit realm with hearts filled with faith. Let’s go!

Today Julie brought as an interesting communion message centered around Luke 11:9-10. When we come into the throneroom of God, we can ask for what we need and God, who is faithful, will give it to us. We can do this because the death of Jesus on the cross opened up the way into throneroom for us. We were encouraged to bring our needs before God, knowing confidently that He will meet our needs as he promised.
Alan then brought us a simple, but yet profound message from Mark 8:31-38 through to Mark 9:1. Alan explained that Jesus’ life purpose was to die on the cross and save us from our sins. In Mark 8:34, Jesus tells us that we have to take up our cross. The “cross” for Jesus was His purprose in life. We have to take up our cross, which is what we are called to do in this life. It may not necessarily mean suffering as we have thought of “taking up our cross” to mean in the past, but if suffering is part of our life purpose, or our cross, then we are to walk in it, knowing that God has pre-ordained our steps.
As we take up our cross (carry out our life purpose), we will begin to walk in the Spirit, and therefore bring the Kingdom of God where ever God calls us to go.
In the evening, we learnt that Moses was dead. Deut 34 tells of the miracles Moses preformed and the promises that were given to the Israelites concering the promised land. However, before these promises were fuliflled, Moses died (Josh 1:1-2). Gone were the old ways of doing things. Joshua brought new leadership and new annointing and took the Israelites to a new land and a new level in God. God wants to do that with us, but first the old ways of doing things must be left behind. We can remember the good times we’ve had and the good things God has done, but we must move forward and leave the old ways of doing things behind.
Like Joshua in Joshua 3, God won’t tell us what the plan is before we step out in faith - but He will tell us what he wants us to do. It’s up to us to take the step.
So the message for today is: Take up your cross and let Moses die. Or translated this means find out what God has you here on earth to do, let the old ways of doing things die and step out in faith to see the Kingdom of God!
Have a great week and make sure you get along on Thursday to the prayer meeting or next Sunday for another great day.
