This week saw Ps Pauline speaking in the morning service on building your life on the rock.
In the evening service Ps Tony brought a message about triumphing over temptation.
Ps Alan is in the Philippines on a missions trip and we had a short update from him. He was preaching on the Sunday morning and is enjoying the cold showers.

If the sun is the size of a soccer ball, the earth would be the size of one of those pepper balls in a pepper grinder. Keeping things in scale, the soccer ball (sun) would be about 24 yards away from the pepper ball (earth). (I think it was 24 yards, around that anyway). The next closest star to earth, would be 4000 miles away! FOUR THOUSAND MILES!!!! This is in our little scale soccer ball world! The distances here are amazing and it’s almost beyond comprehension when you try and put that into scale using the real life sized earth and sun! Wow, that is cool!
