Bendigo Christian Fellowship

Preaching Christ… Making Disciples… Releasing Ministry…

Week commencing 29 January

The church is beginning to return to its normal program, with many folk now returning from holidays. The children?s Sunday School program recommences this Sunday and most of the home fellowships and other activities will recommence next week.

During the early part of January we were inspired by messages preached by Pastor Alan, Pastor Pauline and Pastor Ray around the theme of looking forward and expecting to see the release of God?s supernatural power. There is an air of expectancy and on one Sunday morning in January we heard the testimony of one member of the church who has received medical verification that she has been miraculously healed of Hepatitis C, which she had contracted some ten years ago.

Last Sunday we heard a message from Pastor Tony Smits on the Manna, in which he emphasised the importance of us regularly spending time in reading and studying the word of God as a foundation for a successful Christian life.

During January Pastor Alan, along with missions co-ordinator James Morrissy, attended the CRC Missions School. We can expect that this year we will continue to emphasise the importance of the Great Commission and its outworking in us being more directly involved in reaching out into world missions as well as into our local community.

Sunday services are at 10.30am and 6.30pm at 194 Eaglehawk Road Long Gully. There are also midweek home fellowships and a new bible study commencing at the church on Tuesdays at 10.30am. All are welcome to any of these activities.
